April Newsletter

Welcome Friends! I’m the owner of Organized! by Kristi, a residential organizing company that serves clients on the South Shore of Massachusetts, including Cape Cod, and some parts of RI. This is my first monthly newsletter, hot off the presses! I’m so excited to share it with you.

Going forward on a monthly basis, you can look for my newsletter in your inbox. It’ll be full of free tips and resources that you can use to organize your home, your family, and your life! Who can’t use a few tips on organizing?! We all have busy lives…myself included. I’m a mom, wife and a business owner. Our son is a silly, smart and funny 6 year-old boy. He keeps us busy as he tries new things. His latest loves are basketball and being a boy scout. And, you guessed it, I’m his den leader. My husband is a firefighter, paramedic, CPR instructor and nurse. Suffice it to say, we’re a busy family! Oh, and we have two lovable kitties that we rescued last January.

In addition to my love for organizing; I love to cook, to travel, to entertain and go to the beach. I love all things Disney and can never pass up a good bag.

Be sure and read my latest blog about hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. It’s filled with lots of good tips that you can use for your next party.

Now, please sit back and enjoy my newsletter! Of course, if you want to hear about certain aspects of organizing, let me know! Drop me an email or send me a text.

Happy Organizing!
Kristi

Timely Tips!

Keep those Gift Cards Handy!

I love to receive gift cards! Who doesn’t, am I right? What I don’t love, is when I have a hankering for Italian food when I’m out and about, but the gift card is at home. To avoid these frustrations, keep a small envelope containing all of your gift cards in the console of your car! That way, whenever the mood strikes, you have the gift card available to use! Problem solved!

Time to Clean out those Medicine Cabinets!

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day falls on April 28 this year. The mission of the day is to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. This is a great time to clean out your medicine cabinets of old medicine and dispose of them properly.

Recycling and Donation Resources

All parents know, it’s difficult to get rid of used baby items. When you’re expecting, you think you need the swings, the bouncers, the high chairs, car seats for multiple cars, etc. In reality, your baby may not like what you purchased, and if they do, they use it for such a short period of time. BabyEarth will take these unwanted items, disassemble them and send off their materials to be used again. How great is that?

Check out BabyEarth’s website for more information on how to get your gear to them. Then, check out my blog on where to recycle and/or donate your other unwanted items andorramed.com.
